Major: Dietetics
Minor: Leadership
Future plans: I have been accepted to the Northwell Health Dietetic Internship in Manhasset, New York where I will go through 40 weeks of rotations and supervised practice in the various aspects of the dietetic profession. After I complete my internship, I will be able to take the national exam and become a registered dietitian. Once I receive my RD and practice more in neonatal nutrition and high risk pregnancy, it is my hope to work with nonprofits and travel to developing countries where I can provide nutrition education to expecting mothers in order to decrease the global infant mortality rate.
Year I jumped home: Fall 2016
Leadership positions held in Alpha Chi: Risk Management Sophomore Rep (2017), CRSB Sophomore Rep (2017), CRSB Junior Rep (2017), Vice President Chapter Relations and Standards (2018)
Favorite memory in Alpha Chi: Volunteering at a beautiful and elegant fundraising event for the Midland ShelterHouse in 2017 with Northwood University's Alpha Chi Omega chapter.
